The Big-London-based ska outfit that we bumped into at one of our gigs. Defiance-Old school punk from Portland, Oregon on Punkcore records. Reno Divorce-Our friends from the USA-Social Distortion/TSOL influenced punk. Andy Fiction-Political punk from Chard. Picture Frame Seduction-New friends of ours-hardcore from Wales back in action after almost two decades. Blackchalk-Keynsham based emo/punk band. The Spartans-The other band of Matt Spartan-check them out. The Dangerfields-Breakneck speed greaser punk from Belfast. Chokeslam-Venomous aggro-punk from Swindon. Goatorcycle-Mean as hell hardcore from Yeovil. TSOL-Yes, they really ARE our friends....check them out, not like you needed to anyway! Record Labels: Atomic Age Records-Small label from Pasadena, Texas. No Balls Records-German record label. Alternative Tentacles-Jello Biafra's record label-still going strong. Sudden Death Records-Run by Joey Shithead of DOA. Boss Tuneage-Small UK label home to some awesome bands such as Reno Divroce and Punchbuggy. Punkcore Records-Home to Defiance, the Virus and Casualties. Venues: Wunderbar-Midsomer Norton's Valdez infested haunt. Exeter Cavern-Another favourite of ours. The Croft-Nice chilled out, punk friendly venue in Bristol. Other stuff: Raise the Fist-Anarchist website-shows some pretty good violence techniques. Burbs-The best place to go if you're in the UK and unsigned. UK Bands.net-Another website-more gig information than Burbs and definitely worth signing up for.
